ON OCTOBER 2nd - VOTE PAUL TILLEY FOR MAYOR. ADVANCED POLLS: SEPT. 20 & 27
For over 30 years, I've been deeply invested in Clarenville. Throughout my career as a post-secondary educator, I had the privilege of crafting and delivering a wide array of business administration and community-oriented courses, both online and in person. My true calling, however, lies in community and economic development. Since 2005, I've had the distinct honour of serving our town as a Clarenville Town Councillor, currently as your Deputy Mayor. In this role, I've actively contributed to our town's progress as a strategic thinker, chairing and participating in various committees and boards.
My expertise in business communications extends to new media development, including creating content for online platforms, such as Our Town Clarenville and serving as a Community Correspondent for CTV Morning Live, as well as a former producer/host of cable TV's "Our Town".
My dedication to service was even recognized with a nomination for Memorial University's Alumni Tribute Awards.
Having grown up in Buchans, I understand the profound value of community pride, a principle I've brought with me to Clarenville. Pride of place is so important to helping grow our town as we all become advocates for it.
With your support and my professional and political experience, along with my degrees in Political Science and Business from Memorial University, I'm confident in the significant contributions I've made to this town and remain energized by the challenge of fostering opportunities for future leaders.
